Guillaume Dezecache (PhD, University Pierre et Marie Curie 2013) is a postdoctoral researcher in the Primate Linguistics team of the Institut Jean Nicod at the Ecole Normale Supérieure of Paris, France. His research is dedicated to the nature of individual and collective reactions to danger in humans and chimpanzees. His most recent work has been on the vocal behaviour of wild chimpanzees of the Budongo Forest, Uganda, and in particular distress and alarm calls.
